Our Sand Hollow Jeep Tour takes you from Las Vegas to the incredible red-rock terrain of Sand Hollow and Sand Mountain near St. George, Utah, an area known throughout the off-road community for its sandstone trails, technical obstacles and spectacular desert scenery.

Your Sand Hollow Jeep Tour begins at our Las Vegas Rock Crawlers shop, located just one mile west of the Las Vegas Strip.. We leave early in the morning, giving you a chance to watch the desert sunrise during the approximately two-hour drive to Sand Hollow in your Rock Crawler. Once we arrive, we’ll fuel up, pick up lunch, take a quick bathroom break and head for the trails.

Sand Mountain offers an enormous variety of trails and obstacles, which means every Sand Hollow adventure can be different. From sandstone climbs and technical rock-crawling obstacles to valleys, canyons and incredible overlooks, there is something around nearly every corner. Your experienced guide knows the Sand Hollow trail system and chooses terrain and obstacles appropriate for your group’s experience and comfort level. Your guide stays with you throughout the adventure, communicating by radio and helping you navigate the terrain.

Our modified Rock Crawlers are built specifically for challenging off-road terrain, with 40-inch tires, lockers and one-ton axles. Before hitting the more challenging terrain, your guide will explain how to handle the Rock Crawler and the obstacles you’ll encounter. Photos and videos are taken throughout the trail so you can concentrate on driving and enjoying the experience.

One of the highlights of the day is stopping for lunch on the rocks surrounded by the incredible scenery of southern Utah. Depending on where the day’s trail takes us, you’ll experience sweeping views across Sand Hollow, red-rock valleys, canyon scenery and overlooks toward the beautiful blue water of Sand Hollow Reservoir.
