Love the offroad experience. Karl was great, he walked me thru all the technical obstacles. I definitely recommend and will be back for other trails. I returned a few years later and took the Valley of Fire tour. We were delayed since steam started to come out of the vents but Tim was great and fixed it quick and we were off. Amazing experience and had me hold on the grab bars on most obstacles. Loved it all and highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

Karl was awesome patient knowledgeable and helpful. He not only knew the rigs and their capabilities but also the history of the trails and was kind to everyone we encountered along the way. We did Rocky Gap. Definitely would do other trails next chance I get.Posted on Google![]()

Karl was a great guide. Even as an experienced Jeep off roader, I leaned a lot about rock crawling.Posted on Google![]()

We had a great trip to Red Rock Canyon! Karl was our tour guide and did an amazing job coaching us and giving us information about the area. Our next trip to Vegas we will book another tour!Posted on Google![]()

Had a blast! Went for the Valley of Fire 5h trail, the guide was fantastic all the way and was literally an off-road guru. I'm definitely coming back next time for another one.Posted on Google![]()

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Was just my family and the guide, so two jeeps. A quick ride out to the location and off we went. Guide was there to get us through some tricky spots, but most of it was easy. When we got to the rock garden, the guide (Tim) was out there on foot spotting for us and pushing us outside our comfort zones. All the while, he was taking photos. He added in a bit of local history. My son is really interested in doing it again, and on one of the harder trails. Got to see some beautiful parts of the Canyon. Made for an enjoyable half day experience.

READY TO ROCK?
Two-Day Adventure
Day 1
Your Sand Hollow adventure starts early as we depart Las Vegas around 6:00 AM and head north toward St. George, Utah. Once we arrive at Sand Hollow, it’s time to air down and hit the rocks. Your guide will typically start the adventure with trails such as Double Sammy and other challenging Sand Hollow routes selected for the group’s experience and driving ability.
Expect approximately two trails on the first day, with plenty of technical rock crawling, incredible red-rock scenery and a trail-side lunch right in the middle of the action. This is real Sand Hollow wheeling in our purpose-built LVRC Rock Crawlers — YOU DRIVE. WE GUIDE.
Around 5:00 PM, we’ll head to Sand Hollow Resort to check in and give everyone time to relax and clean up. Around 7:00 PM, the group gets back together for dinner at Horizon Kitchen + Spirits overlooking the golf course — a great way to wind down, talk about the day and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
Day 2
After breakfast and coffee at the resort, we head back to the trails for another full round of Sand Hollow rock crawling. By now, your guide has seen how you drive and what level of challenge you enjoy. Together, you’ll choose the trails that best fit the group — whether that means stepping up the difficulty or simply exploring more of Sand Hollow’s incredible terrain.
Depending on trail difficulty, group pace and conditions, Day 2 normally includes another two to three trails. We’ll stop for lunch on the trail or grab lunch before beginning the drive back to Las Vegas. We generally leave the Sand Hollow area around 2:00–3:00 PM for the approximately two-hour trip back to Las Vegas.
WANT MORE THAN TWO DAYS?
Sand Hollow doesn’t have to end after two days. Multi-day adventures can be customized with additional trail days, lodging and meals. For larger groups or longer stays, private vacation homes may also be arranged so everyone can stay together and make the entire trip part of the adventure. Contact LVRC for a custom Sand Hollow itinerary and quote.
