Love the offroad experience. Karl was great, he walked me thru all the technical obstacles. I definitely recommend and will be back for other trails. I returned a few years later and took the Valley of Fire tour. We were delayed since steam started to come out of the vents but Tim was great and fixed it quick and we were off. Amazing experience and had me hold on the grab bars on most obstacles. Loved it all and highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

Karl was awesome patient knowledgeable and helpful. He not only knew the rigs and their capabilities but also the history of the trails and was kind to everyone we encountered along the way. We did Rocky Gap. Definitely would do other trails next chance I get.Posted on Google![]()

Karl was a great guide. Even as an experienced Jeep off roader, I leaned a lot about rock crawling.Posted on Google![]()

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Was just my family and the guide, so two jeeps. A quick ride out to the location and off we went. Guide was there to get us through some tricky spots, but most of it was easy. When we got to the rock garden, the guide (Tim) was out there on foot spotting for us and pushing us outside our comfort zones. All the while, he was taking photos. He added in a bit of local history. My son is really interested in doing it again, and on one of the harder trails. Got to see some beautiful parts of the Canyon. Made for an enjoyable half day experience.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
WHAT TO WEAR
Summer: Shorts and T-shirts are recommended. Lightweight, breathable clothing is best for warmer desert temperatures.
Spring & Fall: Light layers are recommended. Mornings may be cooler, with temperatures warming throughout the day.
Winter: Bring a jacket or sweatshirt and dress in layers. Desert mornings can be cold.
Year-Round: Closed-toe shoes are required. Sunscreen, sunglasses and hats are recommended.
WINDY DAYS
On windy days the desert sand can blow. Sunglasses help protect your eyes, and we recommend keeping your window rolled up. It’s still a blast.
THE NELLIS TERRAIN
Nellis is very diverse. You’ll cross sand, gravel, rock and steep hills. Because of the open desert terrain, the pace can be a little faster than on our other trails. Your guide steps out to help you through certain obstacles.
THE NELLIS ROUTE
Your 3-hour tour is a round trip from our shop at 3575 W. Naples Dr, including the drive to Nellis, the trail and the return to Las Vegas.
The drive out: Nellis is approximately 20 miles outside of Las Vegas. The group travels together convoy-style to the trail.
The trail: Sand, gravel, rock and steep hills keep the drive varied from start to finish.
The dune overlook: About halfway through the trail, we stop on top of the sand dunes for a view of Las Vegas in the distance.
Driver switches: If your group wants to switch drivers, we do driver switches throughout the trail.
Your guide also takes photos and videos along the way, and we’ll share a link at the end so you can enjoy and share the memories from your off-road experience.
